FAQs

I am using the RxMedChart™ Medication Chart which is also a prescription for most medications (with some exceptions). Am I able to use the MedsPro Dispense Integration?
Yes – You will be able to use this feature to receive information from the Dispense Software to update patient floats. Please be aware that the ѱʰ® solution will not process your script requests, however these can easily be managed via your regular process of requesting scripts.

I would like to send prescription requests through to my Dispense Software from MedsPro, however a message appears stating “Drug Not Linked”. Why is this?
A medication can be easily linked in either Dispense Interface or Stock Manager if the medication does not have the AMT code to automatically link the medications. To do this, open MMS > Select Dispense Interface > Select Link Medication > Tick ‘Only Unlinked Medication’ under Dispense Medication > Find the equivalent medication under سԹ Medication > Select LINK >>

Is my Dispense Software compatible with the MedsPro Dispense Integration Feature?

What happens if I dispense a generic brand in my Dispense Software that differs to that listed in the patient profile in MMS? Can I update the patient float for that medication?
Yes – You will need to ensure that the Match Generic option in the Stock Manager settings is ticked for MedsPro to recognise when a generic brand is dispensed. When updating the patient float for this medication, you will see a generic tab, indicating that a generic brand has been dispensed.

Does MedsPro Dispense Integration work for OTC medications?
If the OTC medication has a repeat and has been processed through your Dispense Software, it will be recognised in the MedsPro software.
